Keith Amburgey

Board Member

Keith Amburgey joins the Board in the summer of 2026, bringing more than four decades of leadership experience in the U.S. Air Force, Department of Defense, and federal government to the Fredericksburg Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors. Throughout his distinguished career, he managed complex satellite and space systems programs, directed multi-million-dollar operations, and led teams responsible for critical national security and weather satellite missions. He holds degrees in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from The Ohio State University and an MBA in Information Systems from the University of Colorado, along with advanced certifications in program and project management.

A longtime resident of the Fredericksburg area, Keith has demonstrated a deep commitment to community service. He currently serves as District Deputy for the Knights of Columbus, edits the Historic Germanna newsletter, and has held numerous leadership roles supporting veterans, charitable organizations, and local civic initiatives. His dedication to service reflects a lifelong commitment to leadership, collaboration, and giving back to the community.

As a member of the Fredericksburg Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors, Keith combines strategic planning, organizational leadership, and a passion for community engagement to help advance the Symphony’s mission of enriching the region through exceptional musical performances and arts education. His experience leading complex organizations and building strong partnerships provides valuable guidance as the Symphony continues its exciting growth.
